Friday’s three-game college football slate should avoid serious weather trouble. Miami–Wake Forest has a chance of showers around kickoff, while Houston–Texas Tech will be hot and dry. Conditions in Eugene should be clear and comfortable.

MIAMI @ WAKE FOREST

Mostly cloudy and approximately 84 degrees at kickoff, falling toward 80 during the game. Humidity will rise from 54 to 65 percent. The rain probability begins around 30 percent before quickly decreasing. Northeast winds near 10 mph at kickoff will weaken considerably, with early gusts approaching 18 mph.

HOUSTON @ TEXAS TECH

PORTLAND STATE @ OREGON

Clear and around 70 degrees at kickoff, cooling into the low 60s. Humidity will climb from approximately 47 to 78 percent. There is no rain in the forecast. Winds will remain light from the northwest at 5 to 7 mph, with occasional gusts around 14 mph.

BOTTOM LINE

Miami–Wake Forest is the only game with any rain concern, but the shower probability decreases after kickoff. Houston–Texas Tech will be hot and dry, while Portland State–Oregon should have calm, clear conditions.
