There are a few weather spots worth paying attention to on Wednesday’s MLB slate. Kansas City has the clearest rain concern, while Baltimore, Philadelphia and Boston have winds strong enough to matter. Detroit also needs to be watched with rain chances increasing during the afternoon.

Rain is the concern. Forecasts have roughly a 30–45% chance around first pitch, with some models increasing the rain threat as the afternoon goes along.

This is worth monitoring closer to first pitch. The bigger concern is interruption risk rather than the wind. Starting-pitcher props become more vulnerable if storms develop into a legitimate delay threat.

Hot and dry in Sacramento. Temperatures should climb from the low 90s toward the upper 90s during the game.

Upper 70s around first pitch with essentially no rain threat.
Wind starts relatively light but is forecast to increase during the game, potentially reaching 10–12 mph blowing out later in the afternoon.
BETTING IMPACT
Oracle Park is normally difficult on power, so a legitimate double-digit wind blowing out is worth watching. The key is whether that stronger wind arrives early enough to affect most of the game.

BETTING IMPACT
This is one of the better hitting-weather spots on the board. The combination of warm temperatures and a legitimate wind blowing out at Camden Yards is strong enough to matter, especially for fly-ball power.
HOUSTON ASTROS @ PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES
Low-to-mid 80s, almost no rain concern and winds around 12–13 mph blowing out.
BETTING IMPACT
Philadelphia is another weather spot worth flagging. Citizens Bank Park already plays well for power, and a double-digit wind blowing out can enhance that. This is one of the games where weather belongs in the handicap rather than simply being background information.

This is one of Wednesday’s more meaningful wind games. A sustained 14–15 mph breeze blowing out at Fenway is strong enough to affect balls in the air and deserves attention when evaluating the total and home-run markets.

The rain is the issue here, not the wind. This is the game where we need another forecast check closer to first pitch because a delay could affect starting-pitcher workload and props even if they ultimately get the game played.

Kansas City is the main weather game to monitor because of the rain and potential delay risk.
Baltimore, Philadelphia and Boston have the strongest meaningful winds blowing out, with Boston around 14–15 mph and Baltimore/Philadelphia around 12–13 mph.
Detroit also deserves another look before first pitch because rain chances increase through the afternoon.
Everything else is relatively clean, and there’s no reason to manufacture a betting angle from ordinary weather.
