ARIZONA CARDINALS
Cornerback Will Johnson is on injured reserve, leaving Arizona thinner in the secondary against San Francisco. Defensive lineman Roy Lopez missed Wednesday and Thursday practice with a groin injury. Cornerback Max Melton returned on a limited basis Thursday after missing Wednesday with a toe injury; cornerback Garrett Williams remained limited with an Achilles issue. ATLANTA FALCONS
Atlanta’s Week 3 game is complete: the Falcons beat Green Bay 35–14 on Thursday. Defensive end Samson Ebukam was ruled out beforehand with a hamstring injury. CAROLINA PANTHERS
Linebackers Devin Lloyd (calf) and Claudin Cherelus (shoulder) and safety Nick Scott (rib) are out against Cleveland. Wide receivers Jalen Coker (ankle) and Xavier Legette (knee) are questionable. Coach Dave Canales expects Coker to play, while Legette remains a game-time decision.
CHICAGO BEARS
Quarterback Caleb Williams missed Friday practice with a hamstring injury, and backup Tyson Bagent also sat out while in concussion protocol. Neither has been ruled out for Monday against Philadelphia, but Case Keenum is the healthy quarterback practicing. Kicker Cairo Santos missed practice with a right hip injury. CINCINNATI BENGALS
Wide receiver Andrei Iosivas is out against Pittsburgh with a thumb injury. Defensive tackle B.J. Hill is doubtful with an Achilles injury, leaving Cincinnati at risk of losing a key interior defender.
CLEVELAND BROWNS
Guard Teven Jenkins is out against Carolina with a back injury. Cornerback Tyson Campbell is questionable with ankle, hip and knee issues, while safety Grant Delpit is questionable with a shoulder injury. Those two decisions will determine how much of Cleveland’s secondary is available Sunday.
DALLAS COWBOYS
Dallas has ruled out four defenders against Baltimore: linebacker DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring), cornerback Cobie Durant (hamstring), safety Malik Hooker (forearm) and safety P.J. Locke (foot). The losses hit both the linebacker group and the back end of the defense before its meeting with Lamar Jackson.
DENVER BRONCOS
Running back Jonah Coleman is out against the Rams with an ankle injury. Wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. is questionable with a foot injury, putting both his offensive role and return-game availability in focus for Sunday night.
DETROIT LIONS
Offensive lineman Ben Bartch is out against the Jets with a foot injury, and defensive back Thomas Harper is out with an ankle injury. Coach Dan Campbell expects tackle Blake Miller (knee) and guard Christian Mahogany (hip) to play, which would limit the disruption to Detroit’s offensive line.
GREEN BAY PACKERS
Green Bay has already played, losing 35–14 to Atlanta on Thursday. The Packers entered without receiver Jayden Reed (neck), guards Aaron Banks and Zach Bako-Bewele, and defensive tackle Warren Brinson (calf). Right guard Jacob Monk then left in the fourth quarter with a quad injury, adding another offensive line concern for next week.
HOUSTON TEXANS
Wide receiver Nico Collins is out against Indianapolis with a hamstring injury. Offensive lineman Ed Ingram (groin), edge defender Jadeveon Clowney (knee), linebacker Jake Hummel and safety M.J. Stewart (knee) are also out. Tackle Trent Brown is questionable with knee and wrist injuries. Collins’ absence removes Houston’s leading receiving threat from this divisional matchup.
INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
Wide receivers Alec Pierce (heel) and Ashton Dulin (ankle) are out against Houston, reducing Indianapolis’ depth and speed at the position. Cornerback Charvarius Ward is questionable with a groin injury.
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Defensive tackle Albert Regis is doubtful against New England with an elbow injury. He is Jacksonville’s only player carrying a doubtful or worse designation on the league’s Friday game-status list for this matchup.
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Tackle Josh Simmons is out against Miami with a back injury. Defensive back Chamarri Conner is doubtful with a knee injury. Simmons’ absence is the major offensive line change for Patrick Mahomes heading into Sunday.
LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
Tight end Brock Bowers is questionable against New Orleans with a knee injury. He did not practice Friday, though coach Klint Kubiak said the day off was planned. Defensive end Kwity Paye is questionable because of illness, quarterback Aidan O’Connell is questionable for a personal reason, and safety Treydan Stukes is out with a concussion.
LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
The Chargers are short-handed up front against Buffalo. Guard Kayode Awosika (fibula), offensive lineman Trey Pipkins (knee) and defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson (hamstring) are listed out, along with tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm), receiver Brenen Thompson (quad) and defensive back Elijah Molden (hamstring). Backup quarterback Trey Lance is questionable with a groin injury. The team has also placed tight end David Njoku on injured reserve.
LOS ANGELES RAMS
Wide receiver Puka Nacua is doubtful against Denver with a hip injury after missing practice throughout the week. Coach Sean McVay said the team expects him back next week barring a setback. Tight end Colby Parkinson is questionable with a knee injury but is trending toward playing; safety Kamren Kinchens is doubtful with a hamstring injury.
MIAMI DOLPHINS
Running back Jaylen Wright is doubtful against Kansas City with stinger and foot issues. Wide receiver Caleb Douglas (ankle) and defensive end Robert Beal Jr. (hamstring) are out. Cornerback Julius Brents (knee) and receiver Ryan Miller (hip/back) are questionable.
MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Center Nick Samac is out against Tampa Bay with a knee injury, and punter Brett Thorson is out with a hamstring injury. Running back Aaron Jones, who had been listed with a knee issue, received no game designation and is expected to play.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Linebacker Dre’Mont Jones is out against Jacksonville with a shoulder injury. Tight end Eli Raridon (thigh) and safety Craig Woodson (shoulder) are questionable. Linebacker Quintayvious Hutchins has also been placed on injured reserve with a knee injury.
NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Wide receiver Barion Brown is out against Las Vegas with a hamstring injury, and defensive lineman Christen Miller is out with a toe injury. Cornerback Martin Emerson is questionable with a shoulder injury.
NEW YORK GIANTS
Quarterback Jaxson Dart has been placed on injured reserve with a knee injury and is expected to miss the rest of the regular season. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Philadelphia plays Monday, so these are practice statuses rather than final game designations. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring), tight end Dallas Goedert (knee), and running backs Tank Bigsby (abdomen) and Will Shipley (foot) missed Thursday practice. Running back Saquon Barkley was limited with a stinger, as were defensive tackle Jalen Carter (wrist), safety Andrew Mukuba (knee) and edge rusher Jonathan Greenard (pectoral). The availability of Smith and Goedert bears close watching through Saturday’s final report.
PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Running back Rico Dowdle is out against Cincinnati with a toe injury, and guard Gennings Dunker is out with a knee injury. Running back Jaylen Warren (shoulder) is questionable, leaving the backfield unsettled. Receiver Michael Pittman (foot) and cornerbacks Jamel Dean (ankle) and Joey Porter Jr. (conditioning) are also questionable.
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Defensive end Nick Bosa injured his calf during practice preparations and coach Kyle Shanahan said he will miss “a few weeks,” starting with Sunday’s game against Arizona. Wide receiver Mike Evans is questionable with a hip injury. Fellow receiver Demarcus Robinson has missed practice with an ankle injury, creating another concern in a depleted receiving group.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
Quarterback Sam Darnold is off the injury report and will start against Washington after dealing with a glute injury. Safeties Julian Love (calf) and Ty Okada (hamstring) are out, leaving Seattle short-handed at safety. Defensive tackle Brandon Pili is questionable with concussion and neck issues.
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Outside linebacker Rueben Bain Jr. is out against Minnesota with a groin injury, and linebacker Josiah Trotter is out with a shoulder injury. Both absences reduce Tampa Bay’s defensive front-seven depth.
TENNESSEE TITANS
Running back Tyjae Spears is questionable against the Giants with an ankle injury. Cornerback Cordale Flott is also questionable with a quadriceps injury. Tennessee faces a Giants offense that will start Jameis Winston in place of the injured Jaxson Dart.
WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
Quarterback Jayden Daniels is out against Seattle with a left elbow injury. Coach Dan Quinn considers him week to week and does not plan to place him on injured reserve; Marcus Mariota is in line to start Sunday. Guard Samuel Cosmi (concussion/throat), tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo (hamstring), linebacker Frankie Luvu (groin) and safety Nick Cross (illness) are also out.
