NFL INJURY REPORT — WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2026

Quarterback availability and several injury clusters headline the Week 6 watch. Lamar Jackson and Baker Mayfield missed Wednesday’s practice, while Caleb Williams and Michael Penix Jr. practiced fully. Denver’s secondary is depleted heading into Thursday night, and Cleveland and the Chargers have concerns across multiple units. Wednesday participation is an early indicator; most Sunday game designations are still ahead.

ARIZONA CARDINALS

RB Jeremiyah Love missed practice with a lingering left ankle injury, leaving his availability against the Rams uncertain. The OL remains weakened by injuries to Paris Johnson Jr. and Isaiah Adams. S Kitan Crawford’s return window opened, but activation is still required.

ATLANTA FALCONS

QB Michael Penix Jr. practiced fully with his rib injury and is expected to start against Chicago. CB C.J. Henderson remained sidelined, while DE Za’Darius Smith and LB Divine Deablo were limited. The defensive updates matter with Chicago’s starting quarterback back at full participation.

BALTIMORE RAVENS

QB Lamar Jackson missed practice with his ankle injury, keeping his potential return against Cleveland unresolved. C Cam Jurgens, OT Ronnie Stanley, OT Roger Rosengarten and G Andrew Vorhees were limited, creating an additional protection concern. WR Ja’Kobi Lane practiced fully in his return window but still needs activation.

BUFFALO BILLS

RT Spencer Brown’s back injury is a key concern after he left Monday’s game and did not return. WR DJ Moore, DT Ed Oliver and CB Dee Alford were among Monday’s inactive players. Their Week 6 availability remains unconfirmed; last week’s inactive list should not be treated as Sunday’s final report.

CAROLINA PANTHERS

OT Monroe Freeling missed practice, while G Damien Lewis and LB Jaelan Phillips were limited. OT Taylor Moton and DT Tershawn Wharton practiced fully in their return windows, offering potential help up front if activated. Existing injuries at CB continue to test Carolina’s coverage depth.

CHICAGO BEARS

QB Caleb Williams practiced fully with his hamstring injury, an encouraging development ahead of Atlanta. RB Kyle Monangai, LB T.J. Edwards and DL Dayo Odeyingbo missed practice, while CB Tyrique Stevenson was limited. DE Montez Sweat’s suspension adds pressure to an already unsettled defensive front.

CINCINNATI BENGALS

Cincinnati is on its bye. S Kyle Dugger’s quad injury and TE Tanner Hudson’s pectoral issue remain recovery concerns, with WR Andrei Iosivas on IR. The extra week provides breathing room, but Week 7 availability still needs confirmation.

CLEVELAND BROWNS

The Browns have one of the week’s most significant clusters. OT Tytus Howard, G Teven Jenkins, RB Quinshon Judkins and LB Carson Schwesinger missed practice, along with multiple defensive linemen. WR KC Concepcion was limited in concussion recovery. Protection, rushing efficiency and interior defense all deserve attention.

DALLAS COWBOYS

WR CeeDee Lamb and OT Tyler Guyton practiced fully, encouraging signs for the offense heading to Green Bay. CB Cobie Durant, LB DeMarvion Overshown and OT Drew Shelton missed practice, while CB Joey Porter Jr. was limited. The defensive absences could be more consequential than the offensive concerns.

DENVER BRONCOS

CB Patrick Surtain II and S Talanoa Hufanga are ruled out for Thursday against Seattle. CB Riley Moss is questionable with a rib injury. This is a concentrated secondary problem against a Seattle passing attack that will have Jaxon Smith-Njigba available.

DETROIT LIONS

Detroit is on its bye, with G Ben Bartch and CB Rock Ya-Sin among the ongoing recovery watches. C Cade Mays and DB Brian Branch have return windows to monitor. Their practice progress must be followed by activation before a game return can be assumed.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

CB Keisean Nixon, CB Benjamin St-Juste, DT Jonathan Ford and WR Skyy Moore missed practice. G Aaron Banks and G Jacob Monk were limited. With EDGE Micah Parsons still on PUP and LB Edgerrin Cooper on IR, Green Bay’s defensive depth remains a concern against Dallas.

HOUSTON TEXANS

RB David Montgomery, OT Trent Brown, LB Azeez Al-Shaair and S Jalen Pitre missed practice ahead of the London game. WR Nico Collins was limited. WR Tank Dell practiced fully in his return window, but activation remains necessary. Houston needs improvement across both offensive support and defensive coverage.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

QB Daniel Jones and WR Darius Slayton practiced fully. WR Ashton Dulin, LB Jaylon Carlies and OT Jalen Travis missed practice, while RB Jonathan Taylor and WR Josh Downs were limited. Taylor’s progression is particularly important to Indianapolis’ offensive balance against Tennessee.

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

OT Anton Harrison remains on IR, leaving Jacksonville to adjust at LT. CB Montaric Brown missed practice, while S Eric Murray and several other defensive backs were limited. That secondary cluster matters against Houston, especially if its receiving group gains reinforcements.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

WR Rashee Rice missed practice, while OT Josh Simmons and CB L’Jarius Sneed were limited. WR Tyquan Thornton remains on IR. Rice’s availability could change the distribution of targets, and Simmons’ progression matters for protection against the Chargers.

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

TE Brock Bowers was limited with a knee injury. WR Jalen Nailor and DT Tonka Hemingway missed practice while dealing with concussions. WR Dont’e Thornton practiced fully in his return window, but still needs activation. Bowers is the central offensive availability watch against Buffalo.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

OT Joe Alt and G Kayode Awosika missed practice, adding to an OL already missing multiple players on IR. WR Tre’ Harris, S Derwin James and CB Donte Jackson also sat out, while WR Ladd McConkey was limited. The combined protection and coverage concerns are significant heading to Kansas City.

LOS ANGELES RAMS

TE Davis Allen missed practice, while LB Nate Landman and TE Colby Parkinson were limited. DE Myles Garrett remains on IR, and OT Alaric Jackson’s suspension affects protection. Those absences leave the Rams with concerns at both the line of scrimmage and underneath coverage.

MIAMI DOLPHINS

Miami is on its bye. RB De’Von Achane remains on IR, while G Jonah Savaiinaea’s ankle and several secondary injuries remain recovery watches. Achane’s absence continues to affect the offense’s explosive-play options.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

Minnesota is on its bye, with TE T.J. Hockenson and OT Christian Darrisaw working through concussion recovery. WR Jordan Addison’s hamstring remains another concern. Getting those players healthy would improve both protection and receiving options for the next game.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

CB Carlton Davis III missed practice, while CB Christian Gonzalez, OT Will Campbell and RB TreVeyon Henderson were limited. WR A.J. Brown practiced on a limited basis while working toward a return from IR. New England’s secondary and tackle availability deserve attention against the Jets.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

WR Chris Olave and LB Kaden Elliss missed practice, while RB Alvin Kamara was limited. Injuries already affecting OT Kelvin Banks, DT Bryan Bresee and RB Travis Etienne leave little room for additional losses. Olave’s progression is especially important to the passing game.

NEW YORK GIANTS

QB Jaxson Dart remains on IR. OTs Andrew Thomas and Jermaine Eluemunor missed practice, along with LB Abdul Carter, CB Colton Hood and S Tyler Nubin. The protection concerns are substantial, while multiple defensive absences could also affect the matchup with New Orleans.

NEW YORK JETS

RB Breece Hall, WR Adonai Mitchell, G Dylan Parham and DE Joseph Ossai missed practice. TE Kenyon Sadiq was limited in concussion recovery. Hall and Parham are particularly important to the running game, with Mitchell’s status adding another question to the passing attack.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

RB Saquon Barkley, WR DeVonta Smith, EDGE Jalyx Hunt and RB Will Shipley missed practice. G Landon Dickerson returned on a limited basis after his IR practice window opened. Philadelphia has concerns involving both offensive production and protection; Dickerson’s return still requires activation.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS

WR Roman Wilson and WR Ben Skowronek missed practice, while CB Jamel Dean, RB Rico Dowdle and EDGE T.J. Watt were limited. CB Jalen Ramsey and DT Keeanu Benton also sat out. With WR Michael Pittman Jr. on IR, receiving depth and defensive availability both need watching.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

WR Deebo Samuel remains unavailable with his hamstring injury. DE Nick Bosa and FB Kyle Juszczyk have uncertain return timelines, while WR Christian Kirk remains on IR. San Francisco plays Monday, so the first official practice report is Thursday; the current recovery outlook is not a final game designation.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba and DL Leonard Williams have no game designation and are available for Thursday. LB Drake Thomas, LB Chazz Surratt and RB Zach Charbonnet are ruled out. Seattle retains its leading receiving threat but loses depth at LB and RB.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

QB Baker Mayfield missed practice with his right thumb injury, and his availability against Pittsburgh remains unresolved. S Antoine Winfield Jr. also missed practice, while CB Benjamin Morrison and LB SirVocea Dennis were limited. The quarterback situation leads the watch, but the defensive cluster also matters.

TENNESSEE TITANS

S Kevin Winston Jr. missed practice, while S Amani Hooker was limited in concussion recovery. RB Tony Pollard missed practice and RB Tyjae Spears was limited. Their progression could affect Tennessee’s ability to sustain drives and keep pressure off the passing game.

WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

Washington’s Monday matchup means the first official practice report comes Thursday. WR Stefon Diggs and QB Marcus Mariota remain recovery watches, while CB Trey Amos and RB Jeremy McNichols have return windows to monitor. Activation and subsequent practice participation will determine whether those returns become usable reinforcements.
