NFL Injury Report — Monday, September 21, 2026

Atlanta and Green Bay released estimated Monday practice reports ahead of Thursday Night Football. The other 30 teams begin official Week 3 practice reporting Wednesday. Their current information is based on Monday testing, coach updates and roster moves.

ARIZONA CARDINALS

Cornerbacks Will Johnson, Max Melton and Garrett Williams enter the week with neck, toe and Achilles injuries. Their Wednesday participation will be important against San Francisco. Running back James Conner remains on injured reserve with a foot injury.

ATLANTA FALCONS

Cornerback A.J. Terrell Jr. and defensive end Samson Ebukam were estimated as nonparticipants because of groin and hamstring injuries. Running back Brian Robinson Jr., offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor, defensive end Brandon Dorlus, tight end Nick Muse and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa were estimated as limited. Michael Penix Jr. was estimated as a full participant and has officially been named Thursday’s starting quarterback.

BALTIMORE RAVENS

Zay Flowers remains uncertain after missing Sunday with a hamstring injury. Left tackle Ronnie Stanley returned from his toe injury but left the New Orleans game after aggravating it. Defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike is dealing with a neck injury. Baltimore’s receiving corps and offensive line require close monitoring before the Dallas game.

BUFFALO BILLS

Defensive tackle Ed Oliver has a hip injury. Wide receiver DJ Moore is dealing with an AC-joint shoulder injury, running back Ty Johnson has a hamstring issue and defensive tackle T.J. Sanders is working through a knee injury. Their first Week 3 participation levels come Wednesday.

CAROLINA PANTHERS

Running back Jonathon Brooks is dealing with a groin injury and currently appears doubtful. Safety Nick Scott left Sunday with an abdominal injury. Linebacker Patrick Jones II has a back injury, Trevis Gipson has a head injury and defensive tackle Bobby Brown III is dealing with a back problem. Offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu and defensive lineman Tershawn Wharton remain on PUP.

CHICAGO BEARS

Caleb Williams avoided a major injury but has a Grade 1 hamstring strain. Ben Johnson does not expect Williams to practice this week, although he has not officially ruled him out for Monday night against Philadelphia. Tyson Bagent should be prepared to start. Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson also has a hamstring injury.

CINCINNATI BENGALS

Defensive tackle B.J. Hill continues to deal with an Achilles injury. Cincinnati did not report a significant new injury from Sunday’s victory. Hill’s Wednesday participation is the primary concern.

CLEVELAND BROWNS

Guard Teven Jenkins continues to deal with a back injury. Running back Dylan Sampson is on injured reserve with a knee injury, and linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah remains on PUP with a neck injury. Cleveland did not announce a major new Monday injury.

DALLAS COWBOYS

Safety Malik Hooker has a forearm injury and is presently trending doubtful. Cornerback Decobie Durant left Sunday with a hamstring injury, while safety P.J. Locke exited with a foot injury. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown is dealing with a hamstring issue. Guard Tyler Smith remains on injured reserve with a thumb injury.

DENVER BRONCOS

J.K. Dobbins left Sunday with a hamstring injury, but the early indication is that it is minor. He has not been ruled out. RJ Harvey missed Week 2 with a hamstring injury but is reportedly progressing. Wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. has a foot injury. Jonah Coleman would receive additional work if Dobbins or Harvey cannot play.

DETROIT LIONS

Defensive back Avonte Maddox will undergo season-ending foot surgery. Guard Christian Mahogany has a hip injury, while offensive tackle Blake Miller is dealing with a knee injury. Brian Branch remains on PUP with an Achilles injury, and safety Kerby Joseph remains on PUP with a knee injury. Detroit’s secondary depth is becoming a serious concern.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

Aaron Banks, Zach Bako-Bewele, Warren Brinson, Anthony Campbell, Donovan Jennings and Jayden Reed were estimated as nonparticipants. Javon Hargrave, Edgerrin Cooper and Brandon Cisse were estimated as limited. Bo Melton and Benjamin St-Juste were estimated as full participants. Micah Parsons is eligible to practice but is not expected to begin that process during the abbreviated Thursday week.

HOUSTON TEXANS

Nico Collins remains uncertain with a hamstring injury after missing Week 2. Guard Ed Ingram has a groin injury, Jadeveon Clowney is dealing with a knee injury and linebacker Jake Hummel has a groin problem. Henry To’oTo’o is officially on injured reserve with a shoulder injury and cannot play until his eligibility window opens. Tank Dell and Jayden Higgins also remain on injured reserve.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Alec Pierce aggravated his surgically repaired left heel without contact Sunday night. X-rays were negative, but he left in a boot and on crutches. Indianapolis is still gathering information, and Pierce should be considered unlikely for Week 3 until his testing is clarified. Running back DJ Giddens, Ashton Dulin, Charvarius Ward and Micheal Clemons also enter the week with injuries.

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton is dealing with a back injury. Offensive tackle Patrick Mekari remains on injured reserve with a back injury. Jacksonville did not report another significant new Monday injury from the Denver game.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Offensive tackle Josh Simmons has a back injury, and defensive back Chamarri Conner is dealing with a knee injury. Kansas City reported no significant new injury among its primary starters following Sunday night’s overtime victory.

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Brock Bowers is expected to practice this week and is preparing to play against New Orleans despite his knee injury. Safety Treydan Stukes is in concussion protocol, cornerback Darien Porter has a foot injury and wide receiver Dareke Young is dealing with a hamstring injury. Bowers’ practice participation will be the major fantasy and prop watch.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

Tight ends David Njoku and Charlie Kolar are being placed on injured reserve because of fibula and forearm injuries. Guard Kayode Awosika and defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson are expected to miss multiple games with fibula and hamstring injuries. Trey Pipkins remains uncertain with a knee injury. Trevor Penning is expected to start at left guard if Pipkins and Awosika are unavailable. Derwin James fractured his left pinky but intends to continue playing with a cast.

LOS ANGELES RAMS

Puka Nacua is questionable with a hip and groin injury but is trending toward missing Monday night. He was sitting in street clothes during the early pregame period instead of warming up with the active group. Jordan Whittington is doubtful with a quadriceps injury but tested it during pregame. Safety Kamren Kinchens is out with a hamstring injury. Davante Adams would become the clear lead receiver if Nacua is inactive.

MIAMI DOLPHINS

Chop Robinson is in concussion protocol. Running back Jaylen Wright has a neck injury, wide receiver Caleb Douglas has an ankle injury and defensive end Robert Beal Jr. is dealing with a hamstring problem. Ronnie Harrison Jr. and Kyle Louis remain on injured reserve.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

Defensive tackle Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins has a hip injury, while tight end Bryson Nesbit is dealing with an undisclosed issue. Running back Jordan Mason remains on injured reserve with a thumb injury. Kyler Murray has cleared concussion protocol and will return as the starting quarterback against Tampa Bay.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Guard Mike Onwenu has an ankle injury and is out for Week 3. Safety Craig Woodson left Sunday with a shoulder injury and had his arm in a sling. Safety Dell Pettus has an ankle injury, Eli Raridon has a thigh injury, Carlton Davis III has a neck injury and Dre’Mont Jones is dealing with a shoulder problem. New England could be thin at safety and along the offensive line.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. suffered a severe high-ankle sprain and will undergo surgery. He is expected to miss approximately 10 weeks and move to injured reserve. Asim Richards is the anticipated replacement. Defensive tackle Christen Miller has a toe injury, and linebacker Isaiah Stalbird is dealing with a shoulder injury.

NEW YORK GIANTS

Cornerback Deonte Banks is questionable Monday night with a calf injury after consecutive missed practices. Linebacker Micah McFadden is questionable with a neck injury. Cornerback Paulson Adebo is on injured reserve with a knee injury. Rookie Colton Hood could receive an expanded role if Banks cannot play.

NEW YORK JETS

Marcelino McCrary-Ball, Mason Taylor, Francisco Mauigoa, David Onyemata, Kene Nwangwu, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Joseph Ossai all enter the week with injuries. The Jets have concerns at linebacker, defensive tackle and safety entering Wednesday’s first official report.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Dallas Goedert suffered an MCL sprain and is expected to miss multiple weeks. Johnny Mundt moves into the leading tight-end role. Saquon Barkley is dealing with a shoulder stinger, while Jonathan Greenard has a pectoral injury. Landon Dickerson and Grant Calcaterra remain on injured reserve.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Left tackle Troy Fautanu played every snap Sunday despite an ankle injury but was subsequently seen in a walking boot. Rico Dowdle suffered a toe injury, was carted off, briefly returned and was eventually ruled out. Michael Pittman Jr. has a foot injury, while Joey Porter Jr. is dealing with a back injury.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Romello Height has a broken hand and requires surgery. Defensive tackle James Thompson Jr. has an ankle injury and is currently considered doubtful. Cornerback Jack Jones has a foot injury, and wide receiver Mike Evans is dealing with a hip injury. Ricky Pearsall remains on injured reserve with a PCL injury.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Sam Darnold is dealing with a lower-body injury. Mike Macdonald expects him to practice in some capacity Wednesday, but the amount of work remains uncertain. Guard Anthony Bradford has a knee injury, Jadarian Price has a shoulder injury, Ty Okada has a hamstring injury and Brandon Pili is in concussion protocol.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Cornerback Jacob Parrish is dealing with a back injury. Baker Mayfield had his right shoulder and pectoral area examined during Sunday’s game. No firm diagnosis or Week 3 designation has been released, making his Wednesday participation important.

TENNESSEE TITANS

Cornerback Cordale Flott has a quadriceps injury, linebacker James Williams is dealing with an elbow injury and guard Fernando Carmona has a shoulder injury. Jaren Kanak and Joshua Williams remain on injured reserve with pectoral injuries.

WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

Jayden Daniels dislocated his left, non-throwing elbow. No fracture was found, but he is officially out for Week 3 and will consult specialists regarding possible surgery. Marcus Mariota will start, with rookie Athan Kaliakmanis expected to serve as the backup. Brandon Coleman has a finger injury, Sam Cosmi is in concussion protocol, Nick Cross is recovering from internal injuries, Frankie Luvu has a groin injury, Javon Kinlaw has a shoulder injury and Chig Okonkwo is dealing with a hamstring injury.
