NFL INJURY UPDATE — SEPTEMBER 15, 2026
1. ATLANTA FALCONS
QB Tua Tagovailoa — Oblique — Remains week-to-week. The Falcons’ revised media schedule now lists Cooper Rush for Wednesday’s quarterback press conference, strengthening the possibility that Rush starts again.
BETTING IMPACT: Continue projecting Atlanta’s offense with Rush until Tagovailoa practices or the team announces a change.
2. BALTIMORE RAVENS
WR Zay Flowers — Hamstring — Considered day-to-day. Baltimore feels reasonably good about the injury, but his Week 2 availability has not been confirmed. The Ravens must also prevent the recurring hamstring problem from lingering.
WR Ja’Kobi Lane — Wrist — Reportedly suffered a fractured wrist and is expected to miss several weeks. Injured reserve remains possible.
WR Devontez Walker — Groin — Missed the opener and has not yet been cleared for Week 2.
BETTING IMPACT: Baltimore is considering adding a veteran receiver. Rashod Bateman would become the primary wideout if Flowers cannot play, with Chris Moore, LaJohntay Wester and possibly Walker moving into larger roles.
3. CLEVELAND BROWNS
RB Dylan Sampson — Knee — Placed on injured reserve and will miss at least four games.
BETTING IMPACT: Quinshon Judkins remains the starter. Raheim Sanders moves into the primary backup role, making this more of a backfield-depth and secondary-usage change than a major spread adjustment.
4. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
CB Mansoor Delane — Shoulder — Left Monday night’s game and did not return. Additional testing is pending.
LB Cooper McDonald — Knee — Left Monday night’s game and did not return. The Chiefs have not provided a firm diagnosis.
BETTING IMPACT: Both defensive situations require monitoring when Kansas City begins Week 2 practice. Delane’s status is especially important for the secondary.
5. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
WR Ladd McConkey — Ribs — Undergoing additional testing and considered day-to-day after leaving the opener.
BETTING IMPACT: McConkey is one of the Chargers’ primary receiving options. His absence would increase opportunities for the remaining wide receivers and tight ends.
6. LOS ANGELES RAMS
EDGE Myles Garrett — Knee — Underwent surgery and will miss at least four games on injured reserve. No firm return date has been established.
BETTING IMPACT: Major downgrade to the Rams’ pass rush. Garrett’s absence becomes even more important while Aaron Donald’s availability remains uncertain.
7. MINNESOTA VIKINGS
QB Kyler Murray — Concussion — Remains in the concussion protocol after leaving the season opener. His Week 2 status is uncertain.
BETTING IMPACT: Carson Wentz would start if Murray is not cleared. Minnesota requires separate offensive projections for Murray and Wentz until the quarterback situation is resolved.
8. NEW YORK JETS
WR Omar Cooper Jr. — Ankle — Considered week-to-week with an ankle sprain. He is not currently expected to go on injured reserve.
S Minkah Fitzpatrick — Groin — Expected to miss approximately two to three weeks.
BETTING IMPACT: Garrett Wilson and the remaining Jets receivers should absorb additional opportunities. Fitzpatrick’s absence is a meaningful downgrade to the middle of the secondary.
9. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
LG Landon Dickerson — Knee — Placed on injured reserve and will miss at least four games. Drew Kendall is the leading replacement candidate.
BETTING IMPACT: Meaningful downgrade to Philadelphia’s interior protection and run blocking, affecting both the rushing projections and opposing pressure expectations.
10. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
QB Sam Darnold — Glute/Soft Tissue — Ruled out for Week 2 against Arizona. The injury is expected to be short-term, but no return date has been established.
BETTING IMPACT: Drew Lock is expected to start. Downgrade Seattle’s passing projections and reevaluate the receiving props under Lock.
