NFL Market Update — September 13, 2026
Sunday’s final injury designations and Saturday roster moves have created several situations worth monitoring before kickoff. The most important developments involve Atlanta’s quarterback room, Brock Bowers, Malik Nabers, Alvin Kamara, Baltimore’s defensive front and Philadelphia’s pass rush.
BEARS AT PANTHERS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze is questionable with a calf injury after being limited throughout the week. Backup quarterback Tyson Bagent, offensive lineman Ozzy Trapilo and defensive lineman Xavier Woods are also questionable. Panthers linebacker Patrick Jones II is out.
BETTING IMPACT: Odunze is the meaningful game-day decision. Any limitation would reduce Chicago’s downfield receiving options and affect the Bears’ passing and receiver-prop projections.
BUCCANEERS AT BENGALS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Tampa Bay wide receiver Jalen McMillan, running back Sean Tucker and offensive tackle Justin Skule are doubtful. The Buccaneers elevated running back Josh Williams and safety Ifeatu Melifonwu. Bengals defensive end Shemar Stewart is doubtful.
BETTING IMPACT: McMillan’s likely absence reduces Tampa Bay’s receiving depth. Williams is expected to replace Tucker as the third running back. Stewart’s absence would weaken Cincinnati’s defensive-line rotation.
SAINTS AT LIONS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan, running back Audric Estimé and tight end Oscar Delp are out. Estimé was placed on injured reserve. Alvin Kamara remains questionable with a knee injury. New Orleans elevated running back CJ Donaldson and wide receiver Kevin Austin Jr. Detroit cornerback Christian Izien is questionable.
BETTING IMPACT: Kamara is the central game-day decision. New Orleans has already reinforced its backfield because of Estimé’s absence. Jordan’s absence removes an experienced starting defensive lineman from the Saints’ pass rush and run defense.
BILLS AT TEXANS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Buffalo running back Ty Johnson, defensive back Jordan Hancock and defensive lineman T.J. Sanders are questionable. The Bills elevated running back Frank Gore Jr. and wide receiver Greg Dortch. Houston enters the game without an injury designation.
BETTING IMPACT: Johnson’s status affects Buffalo’s secondary backfield and passing-down rotation. Houston enters the opener with the healthier roster.
RAVENS AT COLTS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Baltimore defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike and linebacker Teddye Buchanan are out. Wide receiver Devontez Walker is questionable after failing to practice fully during the week. Indianapolis linebacker Austin Ajiake is questionable.
BETTING IMPACT: Madubuike is the significant absence. Baltimore loses a starting interior defender and one of its best sources of inside pressure, improving the matchup for Indianapolis’ running game and interior protection.
BROWNS AT JAGUARS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Browns guard Teven Jenkins is out, while center Parker Brailsford is questionable with a thumb injury. Jaguars running back LeQuint Allen is questionable. Jacksonville elevated veteran quarterback Nick Mullens, who is expected to back up Trevor Lawrence.
BETTING IMPACT: Cleveland’s interior offensive line is the concern. The Browns could be without a starting guard and have uncertainty at center, potentially affecting pass protection and rushing efficiency.
FALCONS AT STEELERS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Atlanta quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr. are out. Cooper Rush will start, but he experienced back spasms Saturday. The Falcons still expect him to play. Undrafted rookie Jack Strand is the backup. Offensive tackle Cameron Williams was placed on injured reserve. JETS AT TITANS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Jets returner Kene Nwangwu was downgraded to out. Wide receiver Tim Patrick was placed on injured reserve, while defensive lineman Joseph Ossai is out and cornerback D’Angelo Ponds is doubtful. Jason Sanders was elevated and will handle the kicking duties. Titans linebacker Cedric Gray is out.
BETTING IMPACT: The Jets’ developments primarily affect special teams and defensive depth. Sanders taking over the kicking job is the most relevant situational change.
CARDINALS AT CHARGERS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Arizona offensive lineman Isaiah Adams, cornerback Garrett Williams and safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson are out. Running back Jeremiyah Love is questionable with an ankle injury. The Cardinals elevated cornerback Kalen King. Chargers cornerback Deane Leonard is out, while edge rusher Tuli Tuipulotu is questionable.
BETTING IMPACT: Love’s availability could change Arizona’s backfield rotation and rushing props. Arizona is also missing two defensive backs. Tuipulotu is the Chargers’ most important game-day decision because of his pass-rushing role.
DOLPHINS AT RAIDERS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Raiders tight end Brock Bowers is out with a knee injury. Las Vegas elevated tight end Chris Myarick and wide receiver Cody White. Miami enters the game without an injury designation.
BETTING IMPACT: Bowers is one of Sunday’s most significant absences. His removal changes Las Vegas’ target distribution and increases the expected involvement of Michael Mayer and the Raiders’ wide receivers. Miami enters with the healthier roster.
PACKERS AT VIKINGS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Packers defensive tackle Warren Brinson is out. Offensive linemen Zach Bako-Bewele and Aaron Banks are questionable with knee injuries, although Bako-Bewele said he plans to start. Linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper is also questionable. Minnesota has no injury designations and elevated linebacker Kyle Van Noy and running back DeeJay Dallas.
BETTING IMPACT: Green Bay’s offensive-line availability is the key concern. Minnesota enters healthy, and Van Noy is expected to have an immediate role in the Vikings’ defensive rotation.
COMMANDERS AT EAGLES
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Eagles edge rusher Jonathan Greenard is out with a pectoral injury. Rookie tight end Eli Stowers was placed on injured reserve with quadriceps and hamstring injuries. Philadelphia elevated returner Britain Covey. Washington has no injury designations and elevated interior offensive lineman Julian Good-Jones.
BETTING IMPACT: Greenard is the meaningful loss. Philadelphia will be without a starting pass rusher against Washington’s offensive line. Stowers’ absence primarily affects tight-end depth and special teams.
COWBOYS AT GIANTS
WHAT WAS REPORTED: Cowboys running back Malik Davis was placed on injured reserve and underwent hip surgery. Dallas promoted Israel Abanikanda. Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers remains questionable with a knee injury. New York signed Dalen Cambre and elevated Braxton Berrios, giving the team additional receiving options if Nabers cannot play.
