LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Pro Bowl tight end Brock Bowers underwent a meniscus trim Tuesday and will miss Sunday’s opener against Miami. The current expectation is that he will miss one or two games. Michael Mayer is expected to start in his place.
Running back Ashton Jeanty returned to practice after dealing with an ankle injury, but his participation level and expected workload remain important to monitor.
BETTING IMPACT
Bowers is the most important non-quarterback in the Raiders’ passing game. His absence removes their best mismatch weapon and hurts the offense on third down and in the red zone. Mayer can handle a larger role, but he does not replace Bowers’ receiving value. This is a downgrade for the Raiders offense and their team total, with Miami benefiting defensively.
Jeanty’s return is positive, but his workload must be confirmed before treating the Raiders’ backfield as fully healthy.
DALLAS COWBOYS
