SKILL POSITIONS: WR Ladd McConkey continues to manage the rib injury that limited him last week. CB Deane Leonard is working back from an abdominal injury.

SEAHAWKS @ COMMANDERS

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

QUARTERBACK: Sam Darnold is attempting to return from the glute injury that forced him to miss Week 2. Seattle planned to have him participate in some capacity Wednesday. Coach Mike Macdonald has made it clear that Darnold will start when medically cleared. Drew Lock remains the starter if Darnold cannot go.

RUNNING BACK: Rookie Jadarian Price injured his shoulder against Arizona. Seattle does not believe the injury is long-term, but his practice workload and contact tolerance must be monitored.

WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

OUT: QB Jayden Daniels will not play after dislocating his left elbow. Marcus Mariota will start. S Nick Cross is also out after suffering an internal injury that required hospitalization and surgery.

OFFENSIVE LINE: RG Sam Cosmi is in the concussion protocol. LT Brandon Coleman injured a finger, although the team expects him to be available. Washington could be forced to change multiple positions up front if Cosmi does not clear.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS

DNP: CB Jamel Dean, RB Rico Dowdle, LB Cole Holcomb and CB Jalen Ramsey did not practice.

LIMITED: WR Michael Pittman, CB Joey Porter Jr. and RB Jaylen Warren were limited.

WIDE RECEIVER: Malik Nabers dislocated his shoulder against the Rams, returned to the game and will undergo additional evaluation. His ability to practice later in the week will determine his availability.

OFFENSIVE LINE: LT Andrew Thomas left Monday night’s game with an injury and is being evaluated.

SECONDARY: Starting CB Darien Porter is attempting to return from a foot injury that kept him out against the Chargers. Zeke Masses started in his place last week.

Las Vegas has opened 2-0 without Bowers. His expected return would restore the Raiders’ top receiving threat.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

MAJOR ABSENCE: Starting LT Kelvin Banks is out indefinitely with an ankle injury.

DNP: WR Barion Brown, CB Martin Emerson and DT Christen Miller did not practice.

LIMITED: RB Travis Etienne, S Jonas Sanker, DT Nathan Shepherd and EDGE Chase Young were limited.

LOS ANGELES RAMS

DNP: S Kamren Kinchens, WR Puka Nacua, TE Colby Parkinson and WR Jordan Whittington did not practice.

LIMITED: TE Terrance Ferguson, LT Alaric Jackson and LB Nate Landman were limited.

Denver’s Week 3 injury focus remains concentrated on Mims and Harvey after both missed the previous game.

EAGLES @ BEARS — MONDAY NIGHT

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

TIGHT END: Dallas Goedert suffered a sprained MCL and is unlikely to play Monday. Philadelphia signed Zach Ertz to the practice squad and is expected to elevate him if Goedert is unavailable.

CHICAGO BEARS

QUARTERBACK: Caleb Williams has a Grade 1 right hamstring strain and is considered week-to-week. He did not practice Wednesday and is unlikely to play Monday, although Chicago has not formally ruled him out.

BACKUP QUARTERBACK: Tyson Bagent is in the concussion protocol and was not at practice Wednesday. He must clear every stage of the protocol before he can start.

THIRD-STRING QUARTERBACK: Case Keenum is currently in line to start if Williams and Bagent are unavailable. Coach Ben Johnson said Wednesday that Chicago remains unsure who will start.

OTHER ABSENCES: CB Tyrique Stevenson and DT Grady Jarrett were not observed at Wednesday’s unofficial session. Their injury details should become clearer when Chicago releases its first official report Thursday.

WEDNESDAY’S BIGGEST INJURY DEVELOPMENTS

Washington will start Marcus Mariota with Jayden Daniels out, while starting safety Nick Cross is also unavailable following surgery.

The Giants will start Jameis Winston after losing Jaxson Dart to a season-ending knee injury.

Chicago could be forced to start Case Keenum because Caleb Williams has a hamstring injury and Tyson Bagent is in the concussion protocol.

Minnesota gets Kyler Murray back, but Aaron Jones did not practice and Brian O’Neill remains limited.

Green Bay ruled out four players, including Jayden Reed and two offensive linemen.

The Chargers are placing tight ends David Njoku and Charlie Kolar on injured reserve and are also dealing with significant offensive-line injuries.

Carolina remains without both starting offensive tackles.

Tennessee opened the week with Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears both sidelined.

Baltimore had Zay Flowers, Ronnie Stanley and Trey Hendrickson out of practice.

San Francisco lost Demarcus Robinson and James Thompson Jr. to high-ankle sprains and continues to deal with major receiver attrition.
