San Diego–Cincinnati Under 9.5 Steam Report

The Under 9.5 is drawing significant market support ahead of Wednesday’s early game at Great American Ball Park.

𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚

San Diego starts Casey Mize, who enters with a 3.45 ERA and 96 strikeouts. His improved command and splitter give the Padres a strong run-prevention matchup against a Cincinnati offense batting .228 with a .307 on-base percentage.

Cincinnati will activate Brandon Williamson from the 60-day injured list, but this is not expected to be a conventional start. Williamson is scheduled to work in tandem with Chase Burns, creating a planned piggyback arrangement that should limit Cincinnati’s exposure to the weaker portions of its bullpen.

The first two games of the series finished 5-0 and 4-3, producing only 12 combined runs. Both stayed below 9.5.

Cincinnati’s lineup is also operating below full strength. Elly De La Cruz is managing a quad strain and has been restricted to designated-hitter duties, while Ke’Bryan Hayes remains on the injured list.
