NFL Injury Report — Wednesday, September 30, 2026

Wednesday’s full reports bring major availability questions at quarterback, center, cornerback, wide receiver and running back. Baker Mayfield is out, Jayden Daniels is working back from his elbow injury, Justin Jefferson missed practice, Breece Hall remains week-to-week, and several teams are dealing with significant secondary and offensive-line losses.

ARIZONA CARDINALS

Safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson is questionable with a back injury after missing practice. Defensive lineman Roy Lopez has a groin issue, cornerback Max Melton is managing a toe injury, and guard Hjalte Froholdt is dealing with a knee problem. Cornerback Garrett Williams continues to work back from an Achilles injury. Running back James Conner remains on injured reserve with a foot injury.

ATLANTA FALCONS

Cornerback A.J. Terrell remains on injured reserve with a groin injury, leaving C.J. Henderson in the starting lineup. Cornerback Billy Bowman Jr. is questionable with an Achilles injury. Running back Brian Robinson Jr. is managing an ankle issue, defensive lineman Brandon Dorlus has a thumb injury and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is dealing with an oblique issue. Michael Penix Jr. practiced fully and remains the starter.

BALTIMORE RAVENS

Center Jovaughn Gwyn suffered a fractured fibula and is expected to miss two to three months. Baltimore is also without Ethan Pocic, creating a major center problem and putting rookie Vega Ioane in line for increased responsibility. Lamar Jackson was limited with a back issue. Left tackle Ronnie Stanley, receiver Zay Flowers, cornerback Marlon Humphrey and guard John Simpson were also limited.

BUFFALO BILLS

Cornerback Christian Benford did not practice with a toe injury. Receiver Keon Coleman and defensive end T.J. Sanders also missed practice. Safety Damar Hamlin and defensive tackle Deone Walker were limited. Josh Allen was not listed with an injury.

CAROLINA PANTHERS

Cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson were placed on injured reserve, leaving Carolina without two important pieces in the secondary. Receiver Xavier Legette, receiver Jalen Coker, tackle Monroe Freeling, guard Damien Lewis, linebacker Princely Umanmielen and tight end Darren Waller missed the Wednesday walkthrough estimate. Bryce Young practiced fully.

CHICAGO BEARS

Caleb Williams remains out with a hamstring injury. Chicago is still weighing Case Keenum against Tyson Bagent at quarterback. Cornerback Kyler Gordon was activated from the PUP list and opened his practice window after missing the first four games with a calf injury. Linebacker Noah Sewell and defensive lineman Shemar Turner remain unavailable.

CINCINNATI BENGALS

Safety Kyle Dugger, defensive tackle B.J. Hill, guard Dalton Risner and receiver Colbie Young did not practice. Safeties Jordan Battle and Bryan Cook were limited. Cincinnati’s secondary and interior defensive line remain the main areas to monitor.

CLEVELAND BROWNS

Center/guard Elgton Jenkins is out with a concussion, forcing Cleveland to prepare Luke Wypler for the starting center role. Receiver Tylan Wallace also remains out with a knee injury. Guard Teven Jenkins returned on a limited basis. Safety Grant Delpit, cornerback Tyson Campbell and tackle Tytus Howard were limited.

DALLAS COWBOYS

Cornerbacks Cobie Durant and Shavon Revel Jr. did not practice. Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown also missed practice, while safety Malik Hooker was limited. Dallas continues to manage meaningful depth concerns in the secondary and at linebacker.

DENVER BRONCOS

Receiver Marvin Mims Jr. remains questionable with a foot injury. Running backs J.K. Dobbins and R.J. Harvey continue to manage hip and hamstring issues, respectively. Running back Jonah Coleman is out with an ankle injury. Denver’s backfield depth and receiver rotation remain under review.

DETROIT LIONS

Guard Ben Bartch did not practice with a foot issue, and defensive end D.J. Wonnum was a new nonparticipant. Cornerback D.J. Reed was limited with a rib issue. Center Cade Mays remains on injured reserve, while safety Thomas Harper is also unavailable. Detroit’s interior offensive line is healthier than earlier in the week, but the Lions remain short-handed at several depth positions.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

Guard Aaron Banks, center Jacob Monk, defensive tackles Karl Brooks and Anthony Campbell did not practice. Linebackers Edgerrin Cooper and Lukas Van Ness were limited, along with defensive tackle Warren Brinson. Green Bay’s offensive-line depth remains an area to watch.

HOUSTON TEXANS

Linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair, running back British Brooks and tackle Trent Brown did not practice. Receiver Nico Collins was limited and remains a key status to monitor. Will Anderson Jr., Jadeveon Clowney, safety Calen Bullock, guard Ed Ingram and tight end Dalton Schultz were also limited.

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Tight end Mo Alie-Cox missed practice with an illness. Receiver Ashton Dulin remains sidelined by an ankle injury and is trending toward missing another game. Linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither was limited with a knee issue. Keenan Allen, Jonathan Taylor and cornerback Charvarius Ward were limited for scheduled veteran rest. Kicker Spencer Shrader practiced fully after his recent groin issue.

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Receiver Jakobi Meyers, running back LeQuint Allen Jr., tackle Cole Van Lanen and defensive linemen DaVon Hamilton and Albert Regis were limited. Cornerbacks Christian Braswell and Montaric Brown were also limited. No major Jacksonville starter was ruled out Wednesday, but the Jaguars continue to monitor several secondary and front-line contributors.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Tackle Josh Simmons did not practice. Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was limited. Patrick Mahomes, Rashee Rice and Chris Jones practiced fully. Kansas City’s main concern is whether Simmons can return to protect the offensive front.

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Starting right guard Jackson Powers-Johnson did not practice because of a groin injury. Caleb Rogers is expected to start if Powers-Johnson cannot return. Quarterback Aidan O’Connell remained away from the team for a family matter, while safety Treydan Stukes cleared concussion protocol and is expected to return.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

Guard Kayode Awosika, defensive end Justin Eboigbe, cornerback Donte Jackson and tight end Charlie Kolar did not practice. Safety Derwin James was limited. Jackson is dealing with a concussion, leaving the Chargers thinner in the secondary against Seattle.

LOS ANGELES RAMS

Puka Nacua is expected to return after missing the last two games with a hip and groin issue, but his participation must be monitored through the week. Tight end Terrance Ferguson is expected to miss the game with an ankle injury, while the Rams continue to manage their tight-end rotation.

MIAMI DOLPHINS

Running back De’Von Achane is out for the season with a torn ACL. Running back Jaylen Wright was limited and could see a larger role. Linebacker Rob Beal Jr. and receiver Caleb Douglas did not practice. Receiver Chris Bell and cornerback Storm Duck were limited.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

Receiver Justin Jefferson did not practice with an ankle injury. Cornerback Charles Demmings and punter Brett Thorson also missed practice. Running back Aaron Jones and linebacker Blake Cashman were limited. Jefferson’s status is the most important offensive concern.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Defensive tackle Christian Barmore, cornerback Christian Gonzalez and tackle Morgan Moses did not practice. Drake Maye was listed with a shoulder issue but practiced fully. Christian Elliss, Reggie Gilliam, Dre’Mont Jones, Eli Raridon, Brenden Schooler and Craig Woodson were limited.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Running back Travis Etienne continues to deal with a hamstring injury after leaving the previous game. Tackle Kelvin Banks remains out with an ankle injury, while linebacker Pete Werner is being monitored after a stinger. New Orleans’ backfield and left-side protection remain the main concerns.

NEW YORK GIANTS

Defensive end Brian Burns suffered a torn ACL and is out for the season. Tackle Andrew Thomas missed practice with a groin issue, and running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. was held out with a knee injury and is considered day-to-day. Linebacker Malik Harrison also missed practice with a groin injury. Cornerback Deonte Banks and safety Tyler Nubin were limited.

NEW YORK JETS

Breece Hall remains week-to-week with a quadriceps injury after leaving Sunday’s game. His availability is uncertain. New York is expected to monitor Hall throughout the week before determining whether the backfield workload shifts to his replacements.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Tight end Dallas Goedert remains out with a knee injury and is expected to miss multiple games. Receiver Marquise Brown is dealing with an ankle injury, while tackle Fred Johnson remains out with a knee issue. Defensive end Jonathan Greenard is still being monitored for a pectoral injury. DeVonta Smith and Saquon Barkley have avoided major setbacks.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is out against Cleveland with a back injury. Running back Rico Dowdle is also out with a toe injury. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey is dealing with a broken wrist but remains in the mix to play. Brandin Echols is questionable with a concussion.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Nick Bosa, Trent Williams, Mike Evans, Dre Greenlaw, Keion White, KhaDarel Hodge and defensive tackle James Thompson Jr. did not practice. Bosa is dealing with a calf injury and is expected to miss multiple weeks. Mykel Williams was limited but is expected to miss this week. Romello Height was also limited. Christian McCaffrey received a veteran rest day.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Safety Julian Love is dealing with a calf injury but practiced in some capacity Wednesday and is trending toward a possible return. Safety Ty Okada did not practice with a hamstring injury and remains uncertain. Defensive tackle Brandon Pili is dealing with a concussion and remains questionable. Receiver Cooper Kupp and linebacker Ernest Jones continue to be monitored for back and neck issues. Seattle’s secondary is not fully healthy.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Baker Mayfield is out at least three weeks with a thumb injury. Rookie Jalon Daniels is expected to start at quarterback. Chris Godwin Jr., linebacker Rueben Bain Jr., Yaya Diaby, defensive tackle Rakeem Nunez-Roches, cornerback Jacob Parrish and tight end Ko Kieft did not practice. Bucky Irving, cornerback Keionte Scott and linebacker Josiah Trotter were limited.

TENNESSEE TITANS

Running backs Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears did not practice, creating a major concern in the backfield. Defensive end John Franklin-Myers also missed practice. Tennessee could be forced to rely heavily on its reserve running-back group.

WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

Jayden Daniels returned to limited practice wearing a brace on his previously dislocated elbow. His status remains uncertain, and Marcus Mariota will start if Daniels is not cleared. Safety Nick Cross and guard Sam Cosmi are out. Running back Rachaad White did not practice. Linebacker Frankie Luvu, tight end Chig Okonkwo, safety Percy Butler and defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw were limited.
